About Grand China
Grand China is a chinese restaurant in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is listed at 1457 E Cone Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27405, which places it among the local businesses of Greensboro that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 10:30 amβ10 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Grand China at (336) 375-1688; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, grandchinano1.com.

I'm a frequent customer of this establishment. Tonight I ordered as I normally do but this time there was a ROACH in my husband's food. He had already eaten quite a bit of the food when the LIVE roach crawled out of the plate an onto the floor. I called Grand China to let them know and the employee told me to "prove it". She then gave me her manager Andrew's number where I was told I needed to bring the food back to them for a refund. I told him that the food had been discarded but he insisted that I drive to the restaurant and show him the food!!! Long story short no help was offered and now my husband and I feel sick to our stomachs. Not to mention the German Cockroach that's currently roaming around my house. NEVER AGAIN!!

Omg the food is absolutely disgusting! I donβt know who the heck is keeping them in business. Please they need to be shut down. The egg rolls are dry and taste stale and old. The chicken wings are a different taste and seem old and dry as well. They donβt need a 3.5 star they really deserve a 1.0. My stomach hurts I couldnβt eat but a bite and wasted my money and threw away the food. $35 for the little amount of food I got is even worse. Shut this place down.

This place has gone down and it makes me very sad. Iβve been going here since a little girl! Saturdays are Chinese for dinner! I still remember going in trying to win a prize while me and mom waited for food! The food is just poor now. Chicken is frozen( I can definitely tell) rice isnβt fresh , my sauce for my sesame chicken was good but the chicken was mainly just bread & soggy. I literally wasted $20 on food bc it just went in the trash sadly. If the original owners knew that Iβm sure they would be disappointed! They used to work hard to serve good food for a good price. I know prices have gone up so I know ppl are looking for the cheaper route but I honestly wouldnβt mind paying more money there simply because of the meaning on this place to me! I hope things get better sincerely!β€οΈ

This restaurant is deeply connected to it's community. My favorite part was it's atmosphere. You'll see pictures on the wall of people who come here. I loved that. I ordered chicken wings with pork fried rice as they have a sign that says best wings in town. For me the wings were fried to hard and taste was average. Fried rice pretty standard. Overall a good restaurant plenty of space to sit. Glad I stopped by

This is my first time ordering and I won't be back. I ordered 3 chicken wings... This is what I received.. look at the pic... 3 1/2 of a wing lol I had to laugh. You got me but never again. The rice puc is attached. Hoyse fried rice. The chicken had an after taste and smell. If you ever had Sheetz wings, you know what I am talking about. The rice wasn't good; so if you wrote a review and said the food was good, I beg to differ. If I didn't initiate please and thank you, her mouth would have stayed clamped shut.
